Montana Certified General Real Estate Appraiser
Brandon Holmes was born and raised in Iowa. In 1995 he moved to Bigfork, Montana where he worked at a leadership training school and in the residential and commercial construction industry. After moving to Missoula, Montana to finish his degree in Business Management at the University of Montana, Brandon met and married his wife, Jane.
Appraising since 2005, Brandon completed his 3 ½ – year appraiser apprenticeship in Kalispell Montana and obtained his Montana Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License in 2009. In 2009, Brandon and his family moved back to the Missoula area and began Holmes Real Estate Appraisal Co..
Once completing the requirements for state licensure, Brandon continued his education and obtained the Appraisal Institutes MAI designation which included extensive coursework, a Self-Contained demonstration report, an experience log and four 4 – hour comprehensive examinations.
Finally, in 2019 Brandon and Jane moved their family back home to Bigfork and the Flathead Valley.
Through courses and seminars, Brandon strives to keep up with the current appraisal industry standards and techniques recommended by the Appraisal Institute and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
Brandon focuses on the valuation of a wide range of income producing or commercial properties, vacant land, agricultural, subdivision and multi-family properties. Brandon is an MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute and a member of the Montana Regional MLS.
